wearefound.ai is an AI-visibility studio based in San Diego, California. We provide services to businesses. “We” and “us” in this policy mean wearefound.ai.

This site and our services are for business owners and their teams who are 18 or older. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we delete it.

When you run the free check: the website address you enter, and what we read from that public website, the same way an AI crawler would.

When you buy a Report or an Implementation: your name, email address and business name. Payment is handled by Stripe on its own secure page. We receive confirmation that you paid and the amount, but never your card number.

When you contact us: what you send through our contact form or by email, such as your name, email, website and message.

When you ask for a call: when you’re free and how to reach you.

About businesses we research: public information such as a business’s website, listings, reviews, domain records and press, including the owner’s name where the business publishes it. We don’t buy data or use data brokers.

Automatically: like most websites, our hosting keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to run and secure the site.

We don’t ask for payment card numbers, passwords, government ID numbers or other sensitive information on this site.

To run your check, prepare your Report, do the work you’ve paid for, reply to you, and, if it makes sense, talk with you about working together. We also use it to keep the site secure and to improve our checks.

To prepare a Report, we send questions about your type of business and area (for example, “best salon in North Park”) to AI assistants and search tools, and read public information about your business. We don’t send your email address or payment details to them.

We don’t sell your information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use service providers only to run this site and our work: hosting and storage, payments (Stripe), email delivery, and AI and search services that help us research and write. They may not use your information for their own purposes.

If you buy a Report or contact us, we’ll email you about it and may follow up. Every email from us includes a way to opt out of further messages, and we honor opt-outs promptly. You can also reply “unsubscribe” at any time.

The public site uses no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no third-party analytics. The only cookie we set keeps our own team signed in to our internal tools. Stripe’s checkout page may use its own cookies to process your payment securely and prevent fraud. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to opt out of sale or sharing, which we don’t do anyway.

We keep your details while they’re useful for the conversation you started with us, or as long as needed for our business and legal obligations. Ask us to delete them at any time and we will, unless we’re required to keep something.

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, access controls and private storage. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send us anything sensitive.

You can ask us what information we have about you or your business, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Business owners can also ask us to remove their business from our research entirely.

California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, delete and correct personal information, and the right to opt out of its sale or sharing. We don’t sell or share it, we don’t use sensitive personal information, and we won’t treat you differently for using these rights. You may use an authorized agent to make a request; we’ll verify the request before acting on it.

Our records are stored with our hosting provider in the United States.

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll tell people we’re working with.
